Indicated for complex intra-articular fractures and the degenerative post-trauma sequelae of the distal radius, the HORUS total wrist prosthesis enables to recover both an anatomic articular situation and a proper tensionning of the flexors and extensors of the wrist and of the fingers.
The design rationale of the HORUS total wrist prosthesis aims at combining full mobility and important stability for the wrist joint.
The HORUS implant has been in clinical use since 2009.
